Bill of Quantities

A list of numbered items, each of which describes the work to be done in a civil engineering or building contract. Each item shows the quantity of work involved. The bill is issued to tenderers, who return it with a price opposite each item. This priced bill of quantities constitutes the tenderer's offer. It is possible for the bill to include the specification.
