Contract Management

Contract Management is the fifth and final step of a typical procurement process as adopted in the OGC / DEFRA Joint Note on Environmental Issues in Purchasing.


Procurers, and their agents, shall make the most of the opportunities available in this final phase of the procurement process to:

• Ensure appointed contractors deliver work outputs in accordance with the agreed contract conditions and specifications.


• Monitor contractors' performance, assessing and reporting progress against objectives/targets.


• Learn from experiences.
