    CIRIA (Construction Industry Research and Information Association) is a membership based organisation to improve the performance of all those involved in construction and environment through greater understanding of the issues it faces. It runs the Construction Industry Environmental Forum (CIEF) and the Construction Productivity Network (CPN).

    Formerly known as the Transport Research Laboratory, TRL is an independent world recognised organisation providing research, consultancy, advice and testing for all aspects of transport.

    Viridis specialises in resource efficiency and waste management and has extensive experience in promoting sustainability in construction and in the use of secondary and recycled materials as aggregates. Formerly a sister company to TRL Limited, Viridis has now been incorporated into C4S.
