Do you realise that:

  • Recycled aggregates not produced to the Quality Protocol do not comply with industry specifications and standards
  •  Recycled aggregates not produced to the Quality Protocol are likely to still be waste, putting producer and purchaser at risk
  • Adopting the Quality Protocol procedures will increase client confidence and hence improve sales and repeats

These workshops will provide advice and training in applying the Quality Protocol correctly.  The workshops are aimed at recycled aggregate producers, clients, specifiers, contractors and others associated with the aggregates industry. They will help producers to comply with the Quality Protocol and purchasers to identify which companies are not complying.

The workshops will include:

  • Case studies illustrating good and bad practice
  • Advice from a regulator's perspective
  • Interactive exercises on using the Quality Protocol Checklists
  • The opportunity to ask questions to representatives from the Environment Agency, WRAP, TRL and Tarmac

Further details are available in the agenda.
