The interactive drawings emphasise the resource recovery options associated with recycled aggregates. However, The ICE Demolition Protocol covers a wider range of recovery options including those related to the reclamation of materials from both demolition and refurbishment. Reclamation can provide high value recovery options which incentivise a more detailed approach to the soft-strip. This will, in turn, lead to the production of more segregated material streams with improved potential to produce high quality recycled aggregates.
